Second Quarter

• Our Second Quarter got off to a great start! God sent us rain to wake up the students and get them started on their PACE work!

• The school day started with devotions; reciting the pledges, reading God's Word, handling out Congratulations Slips, weekly awards and celebrating two birthdays.

• The day (or should I say night?) ended with our quarterly Parent-Teacher Fellowship meeting. We had a wonderful time of fellowship going over the accomplishments of the First Quarter and the exciting events yet to come in the Second Quarter. We awarded the parents Honor Roll Certificates for their children's accomplishments. Parents who brought their Parent Handbook ring binder received a merit treat; a candy bar for them and a free dress coupon for their children. That went over very well! We welcomed the new members of our Calvary family; Ernesto & Lilia Chavez (Lillybeth) and Daniela Lopez (Frida). Praise God for new students!

• Roseanne Rozier explained to us about new ways to raise funds for the academy without spending extra money or time. We will be saving Fresh & Easy receipts, Box Tops for Education and purchasing Script Gift cards. The Information is on this blog. Mrs. Sandoval raffled off a party package, donated by Evie's Balloon Gallery, for the parents who sold the most cookie dough for our First Quarter fundraiser. Bro. Barbosa shared with us the plans for the upcoming Pancake Breakfast on November 6th. Lots of things going on this time of year! Check our calendar of upcoming events!
